Uhh this is our last week of endless Daddy travel. I've been home with my 4 wonderful monsters just me as hubz works 1000 miles away 5 days a week on the night shift. Which means when he is home he is on the night shift = mommy is still on call. 24 7. Its zipped by me I must say... 2 birthdays and now holidays are upon us yet again. But looking for the good in it is something I need to be conscious of, because the past year its been so hard to see, I have lost my self in all the worry of the ordeal. New baby started that year, nursing (full time job in of itself), 3 kids school searching from 4 states away... A good note is cleaning out my hoarder like basement in the failed move attempt. Good thing we bailed before putting money into it... well not money i cant get back, our home is now fixed up more than ever before and we get to enjoy it our selves. And I get to keep my best garden ever in Colorado. Last summer was a first that our large family had an over abundance of veggies and our garden was only 2ft x3ft. I will double that for sure next spring. Living here just before the front range makes things like gardening and baking a little more interesting and tricky. Not high enough it be high elevation but definitely well above sea level were I had all other previous cooking experience and boy water does boil off differently!Still cant make a successful loaf of bread my self but that will be another post. All in all I am happy to stay in our little nest we carved here for our ducks, in our familiar surroundings halfway between normal suburbia and our Bouldaria lifestyle.
